Natrol Secures Rights to New Form of NADH
Natrol, Inc., Chatsworth, CA, has entered into an exclusive patent li­censing agreement with Austria-based Oekopharm GmbH for the manufacture, sales, distribution and marketing of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride (NADH) in North America. The unique patent pending technology stabilizes NADH, which helps promote optimal absorption and assure a long, effective shelf life. Also known as coenzyme 1, NADH is a highly specialized form of the B vitamin niacin, which is found in all living cells and plays a key role in energy production and neurotransmitter processes.
